We are so excited about these Winslow Culottes made with Tencel Twill! If you are ready for a step up in your sewing, trousers with an easy fit are a great choice! Here’s what Helen has to say about her design:
The Winslow Culottes are wide-legged pants designed for ultimate comfort and style. This pattern is intended to be made at any length, from shorts to full-length palazzo pants. The design features inseam pockets, an invisible zipper, a waistband, and inverted box pleats. Make above-the-knee or midi-length culottes in tencel for a chic, professional look, shorts in cotton lawn for active adventures, or full pants in viscose poplin for comfortable weekend wear.
Sewing Level: Advanced Beginner
Fabric Recommendations: Light to medium weight woven fabrics with plenty of drape such as rayon challis, viscose poplin,
crepe dé chine, silk charmeuse, lightweight wool, linen, tencel, chambray, and cotton twill. View A and B work well with both fluid and slightly structured fabrics. For the longer lengths (view C and D), a lighter weight fabric with plenty of drape is strongly recommended.
