Bring some scraps (light, medium and dark) and enjoy the reveal and then making something new! Each block will be 12.5", which is a great standard size to work with.

You can come to one or all- but those who make it to all will have a good start towards a quilt by the end of the series, especially if you go home and make additional versions of each block as you learn them!

BOM is a long standing quilting tradition, and doing one in person builds your stitchy community, connects you to the joy of making something with your scraps and to the history of quilt making. 

One of my favourite things to do is fill a bin with fabrics (including scraps) that work together, and over the course of several months, find and make various blocks. Without planning to make a whole quilt for a bed, it takes the pressure off. Then I can use them to make a quilt, or quilt coat, quilted pillow, tea cozy- whatever you like!
