This four-week class is for kids 7-teens to get a deep dive into hand sewing and embroidery.
Over four classes, students will learn the most important basic stitches and how to follow a pattern- and how to make their own designs as well! Using a hoop and plain fabric, they'll be able to take their project home to work on between classes, and be introduced to a perfect summer hobby- get them ready for stitching by the beach, sitting outside stitching away all summer!
This class is open to all levels, but you know your kids best- some kids haven't yet developed the fine motor skills to do wee stitches, or may not be inclined to sit and craft. A good marker or sewing readiness is the ability to tie a bow (or their shoes). If you've got a crafty kid looking for their next craft, this is it!
