QTE: Scrappy Triangle Quilting-November 13

Put your scraps to use in this new zero waste quilting session!

About this experience

Saturday, Nov. 13, 2-5 PM. (3 hrs total)

Beginner plus!

In this Quilting for the Terrified but Eager series, we play with Half-Square Triangles (HST) . As you grow in your sewing skills, so grows your stash! In this class, we will go over some of the most popular ways of using scraps to make triangles and play with them in infinite combinations. Choose 1m of a solid fabric you love, which will help tie together the chaos of all your scraps. Your scraps should be generally ironed and in generally less than chaotic condition (cut them into roughly square/rectangular sections, rather than long scrappy arms flying all over off of them.) If you bring 2small plastic totes, they can be folded or placed in there to save time on ironing during class, and your finished triangles can go in the second one!

Covid Protocols
We ask students to wear masks for the duration of class. Please take fresh air breaks as necessary. In kids’ classes, kids may remove masks as long as they are in their own station.
