Sew A Beanie! (option to bring a kiddo!)

Get ready for the Ski Season with a cool kid!

About this experience

One of my favourite ways to teach folks how to sew with knits is to start with a simple beanie! These can be made slouchy, or fitted for your bike/ski helmets. You can choose from 100% merino wool (stock dependent), a cute cotton print, or the softest tencel jersey.

This one-day class will teach you how to work with knit fabrics on a sewing machine, how to sew darts, and how to make a fully lined beanie.

No sewing experience required (though it's helpful), and materials are not included, to allow for more choice in your selection (due to price differences in fabrics). You'll need 1/2m of fabric, plus a spool of thread.

This class is great for an adult and kid ages 5+ to take together to make a sweet hat together, or just for an adult, or for a solo kid age 12+. If you are bringing a kid, please make note in the purchase notes, with their age. One ticket assumes you will be sharing a machine and be responsible for helping your kid make a hat with my instruction and support! If you would like to have seperate machines and each make a hat, please purchase two seats.
